After yesterday’s yoga practice, we’re taking things a little calmer in today’s chilled session. A quick, light session will help you stretch out any stiffness or kinks from yesterday’s practice, and it’s definitely sending me into the weekend relaxed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oifIkMgm40o

Another spinning playlist from the YYC Cycle guys, there seems to be a pattern in the structure, alternating between races and climbs, weighted spins and then more climbs and races. But watch out for the hill on track 4.

1. ROS warmup 2. CW seated climb so turn the resistance up to a 5 or 6; halfway click it up to 7 and head into a standing climb 3. HIITJOG RMO get back into the saddle and click the resistance down to 4 so you can match the beat; as a high intensity jog, if it becomes…

Aaannnnd we’re halfway through the 30 Days of Yoga series. Gosh, I’m learning so much with this yoga practice. It just goes to show that there’s so much of yoga out there. So many poses, so many variations, and so much stiffness in my body. Aaannnnd we’re halfway through the 30 Days of Yoga series. Gosh, I’m learning so much with this yoga practice. I found this group of spinning mixes by the guys at YYC Cycle this morning. Now normally when I see something is numbered, I follow it in numerical order. But, hey, I thought I’d live life on the edge and jump straight into #5. And I’m glad I did! What a fun mix full of races and climbs 🙂 Plus it looks like they work the usage guide into the song titles. You can follow the mix all the way to the end or you can stop where I did.

1. RSMOMW – warmup 2. CFWIW –…

I hadn’t realised over the last few weeks that I’d actually become a little bored with the yoga I’d been doing. I didn’t know it, until Adriene started introducing me to all these new variations and poses. She said, “Stay curious… it will keep us coming back to the mat.” And that’s when I realised that I was looking for something more. It was a short practice, but in preparation for tomorrow’s yoga practice – which I’m really…

This is exactly what we need to do in today’s spin, push our limits. I’m not a particular fan of the music but the BPM is exactly what some of us need. If you can match the BPM double time on every track then go for it, if not, see my spinning guide below.

1. SWAF warmup 2. OTH pick up the pace and try to match the beat; you can shift between 3 and 4 in terms of resistance 3. A click the resistance up to a 5 for a seated climb; with jumps on the…
