Hi everyone! No, I haven’t been abducted by aliens. I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth. I’ve just been a little sick. Well, maybe more than a little sick…

A few weeks ago I was diagnosed with severe inflammation and leaky gut 🙁 Turns out, my twice a day workout routine was too much for my body and was feeding the inflammation in my gut and lymph system in my head, neck and chest. Also, my diet was too heavily skewed towards alkaline foods – hey, what can I say, sometimes I take things to the extreme!

So I’ve scaled back on my HIIT and pilates, and practicing yoga more regularly. But I’m ready to get back on the bike again! I can’t tell you how much I’ve missed it. So soon, you can expect new playlists and more yoga practice videos on the Spinning and Yoga blog (yay!) 🙂

I’m also thinking of adding more content and not restricting Spinning and Yoga to spinning playlists only with the occasional yoga video. Things like, how to set up your bike, how to breathe properly while spinning, what each of the positions mean, etc. If it’s something you find interesting or have other questions, drop me a comment below, I’d love to hear from you!
